some time ago i started making an onlineshop for some 3d artist buddies and me. The shop will focus on selling high quality 3d models but it will also sell unity prefabs from time to time (like the Facebook Unity using Graph Api prefab).
It works like most shops: you pay via paypal and get a link to your product just after paying. Most products also offer multiple formats (also unitypackage).
All models have been tested in Unity3d before they were put into the shop.
Ethan, if u tell me how to import them succesfuly into Unity, i will buy a character/avatar model for my game, or i can give u 2000$+ worth in http://www.daz3d.com models that i wasted money on and can’t get them into unity 100%.
Other then above, great models and i like the pig, it’s perfect for a plague infested farm
Koran, depending on which side you got the daz content from will depend on the licensing you have. The main site licensing is only for you in generating a rendered 3d image.
They have a game developer site that has game use licensing attached to it, and the software to export and prep a model for game use and into a engine compatible format.
You need this software to be able to export your Daz content into unity. Not at home at present so dont have the details on me.
it should work right away. Most characters even have a unity webplayer for demonstration. Every model on the shop was tested in Unity (by myself) before i put them online.
If you have problems you may write me … and if you are not satisfied anyway i will refund your money (if you used it less than 14 days).
But i am sure it works just perfect with unity!
I’d love to get feedback here when you got your hands on your polyload models
