Selling an asset that depends on another asset...

Hello guys, I’ve been (unsuccessfully) googling a bit to try and find a simple answer to this question:

Can you sell an asset on the asset store, which requires you to also own another paid asset?

I think the answer to this is an obvious yes, because of all the things I see that rely on assets like playmaker or other big popular assets. But could somebody confirm or deny this? Is there anything explicitly saying that you may or may not require some other asset with an asset your selling?

Thanks ahead of time for any responses!

Yes, you can do this. To avoid unhappy customers, make sure the Asset Store description very clearly states the requirement in … tags at the very top. It also wouldn’t hurt to talk with the original asset’s developer ahead of time. You might be able to cross-promote, or collaborate to make the assets work better together. For example, the developer of Realistic FPS Prefab recently added an OnDie() event to the AI component which allows for cleaner integration with the Save System For Realistic FPS Prefab add-on.

However, the Asset Store reviewers will very quickly deny your submission if it includes any part of the original asset without the original developer’s written permission. Make sure you don’t accidentally include the original asset when you upload your submission.
