Hi, i’ve a question about selling shader assets in Asset Store:
Can i sell my creations made in Unity Pro 30-days test version? I want to earn money to buy pro license that way because i think it’s the fastest way to get Pro that i need to create more awesome shaders for Unity community (mostly for 2D game developers). It’s legal way or should i forget about using pro? It’s question for Unity Team i think.
Greetings and thanks for replies!
As far as I know Unity 30 day trial can be used only for evaluation purposes and you cannot use it to release any commercial product. I don’t know how that applies to the Asset Store though.
Graham Dunnet: $75 per month is to much for me now. Well selling assets for Unity free made on Unity free/pro test is still available?
You’re expecting to make less than $75/month selling assets then? Hmmm…
The 30-day Pro trial is provided to allow people to evaluate Unity Pro. If it meets their expectations, then they should purchase a copy. If you have the trial, and think it’s so awesome that you want to make and sell assets, then presumably your evaluation has succeeded.
