while thinking about how to sell some games, I was wondering if anyone already sells PC/Mac download versions of his games via Popcap.com, Kongregate and alike? Is this a worthwhile path to go for? Does this still work nowadays with download version or are those more like 6 sales per month thingies?
Any insight would be great.

I’ve heared no stories about popcap/kongreate yet. But that “Mr. Jones graveyard” game did fine on bigfishgames and several other portals.
The top10 games on bigfishgames earn very well. And if you get on bigfish, htere are several similar portals to sell your game on (from shockwave to the more ‘obscure’ small sites). I think those portals are aimed at the more casual games , where steam is a very good platform for the more ‘hardcore’ games…but you need to be lucky to get on there (or simply have a great product ;)).
And kongregate.com is still not open to Unity content (grrrr) and if they were, they focus on web-based games only (doing ad revenue share and the like).
