Selling outsourced assets

Hi all,

Am wondering what the stand is on selling assets that were made by artists you hired ( and have explicitly been told what they’re work will be used for and have agreed ) in the asset store?

Could not find any info in the FAQs or knowledge base.

Logically. If you paid full time exclusive work to artist - his work belongs to you. You can do anything with it.
When I work as freelancer and do such works I take per hour pretty big sum and gives all rights to the customer. And if he want he can sell assets I create for him in such deal here.

Would you expect to be credited in the description files of the assets at least ?

I don’t demand it. But most of customers willing to do it by themselves.
Usually if it is a big company it will not give credits. If they are indie developers - they usually will do. :slight_smile:
