Hi everyone

I get an email from one of the my customers about reselling assets in this site :

A few seconds/minutes after creating a new account and writing a comment, my account has been suspended!!! and my asset removed!!!
So i think the site owner uploaded people’s assets

Here is legal american famous company Second Life illegally resell my assets.

Stolen assets list:

My assets on Unity Store

Faxes and letters don’t help.
They don’t act and continue to have profits from stolen things.
They blocked me on their forum as well.

It seams virtual world changed dramatically if USA based company brakes federal law.

Not only me found stolen content re-selling on Second Life market.

Have you seek legal advice? Since you have prove that it’s your work, and that you’ve tried to contact them, consulting lawyers would be what I’ll do.

Of course. I send them letters and faxes. And tried to contact theft itself.
At the end I even made a videos how I did it.

This is sad. Second Life is properly big, it shouldn’t be hard to get a hold of them by phone. The conversion strategy is that it’s in their interest to resolve this as they can be challenged legally if they knowingly allow pirates to sell your content through their store and it will spoil their image.

If they direct you to put down the phone and write an email, you should point to them to ones you’ve sent and keep the names of the operators to follow up.

I think the time when thefts can steal assets and sell them in markets come. Protected by companies like Second Life which share profits with those thefts. There is no law any more. This is wildlands.:frowning:

All site assets are from site owner and ripped/reskinned based on other assets
