Hello, hello. I’m starting a thread here to display some of the work on a tradeskilling game I’m developing called Selvedge Guild. I want to build a game that really explores crafting. Here, I’m focusing on tailoring. I want to ultimately give the player such a tremendous amount of options that they could potentially make a name for themselves through use of great skills and compelling design. I plan on doing this primarily by breaking clothing pieces down into interchangeable pieces. Here’s some concept art:

That looks like a neat idea. Have you worked out how you are going to fit pieces across different model types?

Thanks. I intend on modifying / expanding ModelAssistant to handle different meshes / textures / etc.

Now, between playing with some mobile stuff, I’m trying to figure out how much detail I can personally get into the main texture, and whether or not the increase in texture size would add enough visually to justify the memory cost.
