Send midi from Ableton Live into Unity

Hi there,
As a musician, I’m exploring ways I can generate visuals for my music sets. Is there a travelled path that could enable me to send commands into Unity from Ableton Live? So midi notes in Ableton sets trigger events in either the Unity editor or a published runtime?

Yeah his github repo’s have for a long time been some of the coolest unity projects and graphics and music related stuff you can find.
