like : Licenses required for third-party assets

We cannot accept this package because it includes third-party content without accompanying licenses. Fonts, audio, images, and other third-party components require licenses to be included in the package in a .txt format and require to be compatible with our EULA. A Third-Party Notices.txt file needs to be included in the package to provide clear guidance on which components are under the appropriate license. The product description on the Asset Store also contains a notice stating the third-party software licensing included in the package. For example: “Asset uses [name of component] under [name of license]; see Third-Party Notices.txt file in package for details.” (Unity Asset Store Submission Guidelines - Asset Store, Section 1.2.d)===its not include sounds etc ?
Im not happy …

Im not happy with that.I will never publish my works if unitys curator team act like that …
:(:(:(:frowning:

I revised and update 5 times for my “marine defender” game template ,still reset prefabs warning coming after rejection ?Checeked 5 times ,I cant see any unresetted prefab in folder ?5 times :frowning:

any help will be apreaciated too much …especially from unity :frowning:

is that reset prefab now the only issue they asked to fix?
what is the actual message they send?

but if nothing helps,
try to sell it in other asset market places,
and make new kit or asset and try to put that in asset store
(cannot really argue with the reviewers, i’ve had assets rejected also, just need to move on, to not waste too much time)

Try to pack assets and load to the new project. And see if the issue is present.

Product name can be treadmarked. Like a weapon name in your case. You may need licence to use as such. Thats why system may trigger.

You need make sure your project doesn’t contain other third party assets. Either audio, textures, models etc. Or otherwise you need licences.

Having game template may suggests, you will have at least one third party asset.

Number of them Unity have a way to track them.

I decided to sell them another platform except unity. These warnings ,especially "resetprefabs " look like depending on unitys automatic check system not about curators team .I have alot of work on another platforms like sellmyapp, cgtrader etc .Any suggestion for publishing game template except sellmyapp would be nice.most of marketing site about only 3d works ;such model, animation etc.I would like to sell template also…alot of thanks for your attention guys …sincerely.

could try Top paid game assets tagged Project template - itch.io

I still would check those problems. You don’t want to sell assets to people with licensing or usage issues. That’s just rude.

It’s not rude, it’s simply illegal.

Note that the same way you cannot model an existing car model you cannot model an existing real world weapon, not even real world landmark buildings. Those are trademark properties and if they are unmistakenly recognizable as the thing you made them to represent - even with logos, labels, etc. removed - it counts as an offense.

It sounds like you are trying to sell a desert eagle without authorization from the manufacturer ,in which case yes you were rejected for good reason. What you are trying to do is illegal, just changing names etc is not enough.

This really does sound like a basic copyright infringement issue.

yeah yeah ok ok.but tons of models published I seen in assetstore …how about this.?:frowning: are those people illegal??

will change logos ets .even I choosen logos name randomly without check if its name already used by some manufacturer bla bla bla …I have same model in cgtrader which is sold already.thanks men hope it will help:(

thanks …will try men

yes there is plenty of illegal stuff on stores, doesnt mean you should sell illegal stuff too. Changing logos on a gun may not be enough if the design is patented etc. You have to also make changes to the design, a 1:1 desert eagle with just the logo changed is still infringement of copyright.

thanks for asupportive info.but I still thinking why gives reset prefab warning about my game …even checked 3 times.

Yes, and assets like that are on the store for a variety of reasons like: (i) the asset store not having the best policies in place back when it was just getting started, (ii) the reviewer in question not being as thorough or knowledgeable as they should have, (iii) assets have to be taken down by request of the IP owner, etc.

While it’s a slim chance it’s also possible they contacted the company and permission was granted. You should reach out to companies you’ve made assets based off of their products and see what their policies are on this.

Ideally you should do this before you’ve made the asset to avoid wasting your own time in trying to replicate it.

Closing.
This is all pretty straight forward stuff. Correct the feedback given by the asset store team and try again. If you are confused about those things, contact Unity support. Having folks here basically just guess at what you are doing or not doing isn’t helpful or practical.
