Serious STEAMVR update bug from 15133 to 15155??

My game has been seriously affected by this bug. I’m using playmaker actions for get grip, get trigger works fine, but the other buttons seem to have stopped. Nothing has changed other than the steamvr update. Ste steamvr plugin update makes that even worse!

My steam updated a few days ago from 1513371133 to 1515522829, this update has completely disabled any use of the grip or menu buttons within my game. I have tried for two days to figure out what is wrong and have come to the conclusion that it is the update.

My method:

The computer I made the game on was working last week and now it is not, the difference is the steam build.

I have a secondary computer that I use for testing, the version on that was 15133, when I launched steam I immediately stopped steam from auto-updating and paused it. This left me with the version that had been on there for testing at 15133.

I then deleted the pre-installed version in steam and downloaded a fresh version from steam. It worked flawlessly as it should with the grip buttons activating the rapid fire mode. seeing how everything was working as it should, that confirmed to me that 15133 is a working build.

I then allowed steam to update to 15155 and launched the same game, immediately, none of the grip controls work any longer. This proved to me that something happened between 15133 and 15155. None of the normal game tools I use to make my game work any longer since that update. This is alarming because this essentially makes my game unplayable on steam when it launches on the 19th

Anyone else having this problem?

Same here on Unity 2017.2.
I downloaded the last version from their GitHub and I felt a lot of motion sickness. A physical 45° turn on the right is now a virtual 90° turn on the right. In addition, controllers are not visible anymore after turning them on.
If I use an older version of the plugin everything works perfectly
