Set transform.rotation as 0,0,0

Hi,

Say you create a cylinder. It turns up orientated vertically.

Is it possible to orientate it horizontally then, having done so, make THAT position the default rotation of 0,0,0,?

You cannot change the Quaternion Identity of the object, what you can do is set it to what you need and then put a parent on it with a zeroed out rotation and then just rotate that. But ensure that the parent is in the same position or your child will rotate around it.
