i have a vector2 postion, and i would like to get a quaternion rotation (on the y axis) of the vector2 position around the point 0,0

I’m not completely sure here, but I think you want:

Quaternion q = Quaternion.AngleAxis(angle, Vector3.forward);

…where ‘pos’ is the Vector2 position. If you can explain more what you want to use it for, I can verify this is the right code (or provide an alternate).
