Hi, I’ve poked around Unity Answers but not seeing anything. I’m experiencing some pretty severe lightmapping artifacts and I’m not sure why.
Here’s what I have before generating lighting:
And then here’s what I get:
You will notice that the artifacts seem to be on Z-axis surfaces, while X-axis surfaces look fine, albeit much brighter than my original settings.
All the settings are default except the lightmap size (which is at 2048). No AO, no fog or anything weird like that.
I’m kind of at a loss and, because it takes so long to generate lightmaps, I’m hoping someone can offer some pointers.
