Shader issue with FBX

Hello,

Please see the attached image:

When I import a modeled cube and apply a shader, the texture is stretched badly (visible on the left).
When I use a Unity cube, the same shader looks fine (to the right).

How do I get imported models to accept shaders properly ?

Model created in C4D, exported to FBX.

It is most likely the UVs on the imported cube, not the shader. Edit the UVs in C4D.

Check your UV’s and also if the model for ngons. If that doesn’t help try triangulating the mesh before you export as C4D’s FBX is a bit flawed.
