shader mobile / particles / additive with black & white texture turns out red

Hi dear all,

I am trying to texture a simple plane with a Mobile/Particles/Additive shader and a simple black and white gradient texture.
The result is a red spot. I am wondering whis this would happend?
maybe I messed up some paramaeters or something else?

Did anyone got stuck with this before ?

Select your texture and try to turn on “Alpha is Transparency”. It can be unchecked by default
