Shader selection problem

Hello everyone,
i have a problem when selecting a shader in the material editor.
Everytime i try to open the dropdown menu the editor freezes, it takes a lot of time to open it.

How do i fix it?

I’m having this problem now in 2020.2 and I’m going to file a bug report. I’ve tried removing shaders and random things but the problem persists.

The Editor hangs for 5-10 secs when clicking select shader menu… this will repeat if I keep clicking.

Got the same issue (I have to wait between 1 and 2 minutes). Fixed it by deleting Library (and Temp, just in case).

Got issue on Unity 2019.3.0f1

Edit: new update! After more investigating, I saw that my Library/ShaderCache.db was ~20Go. Not sure how it reached that amount but deleting and restarting Unity fixed the issue.

Me too, is there no way the shader cache can be removed automatically or overwrite itself? Using Unity 2020.3.0f1 and Shader graph + URP here
