Shader working on Mac but not Windows? (4.3)

Hi,

I have almost no experience with lighting/shaders/etc. I’ve only worked in flat 2D mainly. In the few cases I’ve had to use them, I pick randoms ones and the effects boil down to magic for me. No idea. Clueless.

I found this link from the Legend of Dungeon creator explaining the sprite lighting he used:

Saved to dropbox. Opened exact same project in Unity 4.3 on Windows 8. Nope. See here: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

Been messing around for a few hours, and nothing has fixed it. Even got desperate enough to update video drivers. Red and blue lights work on normal 3d objects. Nothing works on any of the transparent shaders. Any ideas? HALP. D:

Problem solved- Need to use quad and not sprite. Silly.

Still strange though that the same exact lighting setup was ‘working’ on Mac (apparently only from behind) and not on Windows!
