Shadow follows my view everywhere in one of my scenes...

Hello again,

I’m having an issue with just one of my scenes since we converted the project over to Unity 3.0. There is a shadow that seems to follow my view everywhere (both in the game view, the scene view, mac and windows standalone builds) - but only in this one scene.

The light which lights the scene is using the exact same settings as all of our other scenes. The Main Camera does not actually exist until the scene awakes (it’s instantiated from a prefab) - so that is exactly the same as all of our other scenes as well.

It appears to be a circular shape around wherever the view is currently set and happens both in perspective and orthographic cameras.

It does not appear if either A) I set the camera to vertex lit (both forward and deferred produce the issue). Or B) I disable shadows (both hard and soft produce the issue). I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while now with no luck so I figured I would come here and ask if anyone has encountered a similar issue.

Thanks in advance for any input/feedback!

Turns out one of the level designers stuck a rock up on the middle of the sky, but the mesh has no polygons on the underside so I didn’t see it >.>

Sorry to waste forum space with this one!

I was going to say check the billboard distance on your terrain.
A rock in the sky?
Must have been some leftover asset, like some partial sectors of my level.
