ShadowCreep - Impossible 2D Archery game for Android iOS (Free)

Hey !

I just released my first game made with Unity for mobiles. It’s a 2D archery shooter. I designed it to be very hard.

Features:

  • Easy to pick up and play
  • Very hard and challenging
  • Dynamic Archery game (you will not see apples here)
  • Original graphics

I would love to hear your feedback about the game. What do you think about the graphics? the icon? the gameplay? what could be added to make it better? (other than enemies, i am already planning to add a couple new enemis in the first update)

The game was just released on iOS today and will be coming to Android and Windows Phone very soon

Kudos and congrats…
I LOVE archery games.
Will download from home tonight!!

That’s awesome!

If you enjoy it, it would be great if you could rate it on the store.

And I would love to hear your thoughts on the game, how it runs on your device, what do you think of the graphics, gameplay, icons. Things like that
Also I am planning on adding some monsters over the next few updates

good game

Thanks veery565656, I’m very glad you enjoy it! What did you think of the icon, graphics and gameplay? How did it run on your device?

Hey Guys,

We have just noticed an issue with the score reporting when you connect to gamecenter. We have already submitted a fix for that and a couple of other things to Apple and it should come out as soon as they approve it.

This should not affect you if you do not connect to gamecenter.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you are having fun with the game!

As always, don’t hesitate to contact us if you find issues, want some specific feature in the game, or just want to tell us the score you’ve reached!

PS: Thank you to Eric, who notified us of this issue.

Looks pretty cool ,but are those demon dolphins? lol

They started as sharks, but then I prefered the dolphin’s fin so i changed that. Then I wanted to give it a scary head, so I went for an ant’s head… Then I wanted it to be even weirder so I decided that they should drop their head on the player!
I don’t know if they are demons, or aliens or something else, but i definitely wouldn’t want to see them on the street

Have you tried it by the way? Got any feedback you’d like to share?

Just wanted to let you know the game is now out on android! Check it out and let me know what you think.

I’m now starting work on an update to add a shield that you can fill up by killing monsters and that you will have to activate to avoid getting killed. I’ll add a new type of monster, a new tutorial, and smoother animations to name the major ones!

Click here to get it from the play store

PS: anyone knows how to chance the title of a thread?

The collision detection of the arrows in the dolphin demons (Thats what im going to refer to them as, from now ;)) needs a little fine tuning and im not sure about the blurry houses as the rest of your art has a nice clean edge to it. Its great to hear that you are developing it further with more content.

Out of interest, did you use the native 2D tools or a 3rd party plugin?

Hey Andy!

Thanks for the feedback! Yes the collisions are a little bit off (because the head rotates it doesnt fit the monster at the end) I’m actually finishing up a quick update to fix that (as well as give the archer smoother animations and a few other bug fixes)

Right after i’ll get right back to adding content (monsters, bonuses a shield :)).

I’m also interested in getting the opinion of other people before releasing the game, getting feedback on gameplay and new features as well as how it runs on their devices. If you would be interested in that, i’d love to send you a pre-release build

I didn’t use the native 2d tools unforunately, I started the project before it was available, dropped it for a while and then went back to it after the 2d tools were available, so I didn’t get a chance to use it.

I’ve been listening to all the comments that you gave me since the release of shadowcreep, and i’ve fixed some bugs, gave Shade (the archer) smoother animations and added a better tutorial for the game. Get it here on the play store
I will now start working on the next update to add a shield, a new enemy and a few other goodies!
As always, i’d love to get your feedback on the game, and if you’d like to check the next features before release to give me some feedback let me know!
