Beta 19 introduced a new bug! Who’s excited?!
Ok well here it is. When there are no shadows, lighting goes haywire. Create a scene with a few objects and shadows, bake the lightmap, then try going to those realtime light objects and turning shadows off. They either stop working/cause weird problems. Directional lights essentially paint the light color onto the scene. As soon as you turn the shadows on, it correctly lights it. Point/spotlights hardly emit any light, then when you turn on shadows boom there is a ton of light as it should be.
This also applies if you turn disable shadows on in the quality settings. Here’s an example of that.
First picture is shadows on in quality settings. Second I turn shadows to disable in the quality settings, and lighting is weird. (Ignore the bad occlusion texture on the platform in the second picture, that’s my fault)
Can’t really upload this scene for a bug report…
