Shadows from Unity Terrain Details not Projecting onto Other GameObjects

Hello everyone,

I’m encountering an issue with Unity’s Terrain system, specifically regarding the projection of shadows from terrain details onto other GameObjects. I’m currently using Unity-2020-3-LTS.9f1 with the Built-in-Render-Pipeline.

I have set up my Terrain with various details and I have noticed that the shadows cast by these details are not being projected onto other GameObjects in the scene. However, when I manually instantiate the Prefab used in the Detail, it does cast shadows onto other GameObjects properly.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue with Unity Terrain details not projecting shadows onto other GameObjects?

If so, what steps did you take to resolve it? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
