Shadows intermittently disappear on Oculus Quest with LWRP

Deploying to Oculus Quest from Unity 2019.2.0f1 with the new XR Subsystem packages and the LWRP, shadows intermittently appear and disappear based on how you move your head. Submitted a minimalist repro project with case# 1174675. Has anyone seen this and knows of a workaround?

I’m getting this issue in 2020.3.18 with URP. Did you ever find a solution or workaround?

I had to give up on unity xr, unfortunately, so no.
