Shadows look much better in editor than in game view

The top image below is from my editor view, where shadows look quite nice.
However, in the image below, in game view, they look much worse, not sure what could be the cause? On latest unity version.

Is your game view set to “Low Resolution Aspect Ratios”?

Hmm, yeah it is, and the box is grey, cant change it.

Shadow resolution will also depend on your camera’s far clipping plane distance. The scene and game view camera may have wildly different settings. If “Dynamic clipping” is enabled your scene view camera will fit itself to the objects in your scene, which may result in a shorter clipping distance, so higher shadow resolution.
