shadows misplaced

Hi guys,
the problem is quite self-explanatory: The cube in my scene is touching the ground. It’s obvious that the shadows my cube is casting are misplaced. Not to mention they are ugly as hell.


I tried to play around with quality settings and bias (from 0 to max), but to no avail.

  • the problem is the same regardless of rendering path (deferred/forward)
  • the lights are real-time with hard shadows

I’ve got it.
As I gave up on finding the solution after a hard struggle I decided to build n’ bake the damn thing, it turned out that it was baked correctly for some reason. The shadows looked fine in the build.
So it must be a bug in the editor that’s causing the shadows to be misplaced.
