Shadows On Certain Objects

Hello,

I’m making a trucking game but im having some serious fps issues.Im hitting low fps so i decided the thing killing me the most is shadows.Is it possible for me to cast shadows on certain objects?Like the vehicles in the game i dont want to cast shadows but buildings and trees i want to cast shadows,and i cant bake the shadows because the game is real time day and night.

Can anyone help?

That’s what the cast shadows/receive shadows checkboxes are for.
