are there thechniques for making shafts of light across fog in unity? first time i saw this was in FEAR version 1 in about 2006, i think it’s an awesome 3d ambience thing i dount know why we dont see more of it!

Another cheap way of doing this is making a cilinder-like object, and apply a transparent/yellow material on it.
I recently made a lightshaft system on the assetstore wich does not require unity pro, you could set a meshplane in the shape of the fog and cast downwards to create a similar effect.
