Should I learn from unity scripting or start with projects?

Hi Guys!
I’m been learning c# for a week or so and i know all the basics. So,should i start learning unity c# scripting?
or Start with projects?

Well.I learned “Roll a ball” project tho but im still curious about where to start.

Also.Should i still learn simple c# or learn unity c# and development if i want to be game programmer?

Start with the learn project section, pick a fun looking project and go!

Well Thanks!
But should i keep learning simple c# or i focus on unity3d c# tutorials?
I’m just saying because its hard to learn alot of stuff at same time.
I’m learning simple c#,unity3d projects,c# scripting.Well also i dont have much time for all of them in one day because of school

I don’t know what you mean by “Unity 3d c#”, but yes I would do those Unity c# tutorials. Because then you would be learning c# with Unity in mind. Learning “generic” c# outside of the Unity environment won’t hurt at all. But if you want to do C# things with Unity, then learneth the ways of Unity

So,you mean i dont have to learn simple c# if i want to go with unity3d?

No, I’m just saying you will end up learning it anyways as you go along if you do a project. Ultimately, if you want to code, you will have to learn the language. But it does take time.

I started with the scripting section. None of the projects ever looked interesting enough for me. To this day I haven’t done them.
