SIGBUS Oddity

So I’m getting the SIGBUS problem:

Could not produce class with ID 81 (Filename: /Users/build/builds/unity-iphone/iphone/Projects/…/Runtime/Serialize/SerializedFile.cpp Line: 681)
Program received signal: “SIGBUS”.

BEFORE I click Continue twice, I took a look at the debugger. The attached image is what I saw there.

Then I clicked Continue twice and got:

Stacktrace:

Program received signal: “SIGABRT”.
warning: unrecognized length (0x0) for sigtramp context

And the debugger was stopped on __kill.

In my two C# scripts, I don’t have any null values anywhere. All my vars are declared and given values. Given the debugger’s stopping point, I’m fairly sure I’m not at fault here.

Please help!

I will happily supply source code to Unity engineers if it means I’ll get the problem fixed.

Hi,
please give a try “Assets->Reimport All” and rebuild your application from scratch (replace your Xcode project). If this doesn’t help then please submit bug report with your project attached to it.

I managed to fix this problem basically by building a new XCode project from scratch and re-adding my additional code.

Didn’t know about the Assets → Reimport All trick. Will remember that for the future.

Thanks mantasp

Wow! Thanks for that. I ran into that issue last week and didn’t know what to do about it!
