Simple animations

Hi,

Just wondering whats the best way to perform a simple animation like a gif. Using animator/animation seems a bit overkill, and storing each frame and making a script seems a bit messy.

Is it possible to just attach and loop an animation (without animator)?

Sprite arrays. Simply load your sprites then SpriteRenderer.sprite = sprite.
