I’m trying to create a simple background with a child object that masks whats behind it and cannot figure it out. I want a cutout of the shape of the octagon and then have the octagon with its semitransparent sprite to overlay the top of that. I cannot find any combination of masks that gets me this result. Does anyone have any ideas?
I guess what I’m looking for is for a child image to cutout the parent image.
