Simple question.

Here it is

For some reason I can’t get my computer to display both visual outputs on the same screen. They used to display on the same screen. Now they don’t like me that much anymore. If you could tell me what the problem is it would be highly appreciated.

Just double click on something in the hierarchy, like the Player object, and the camera should return to where things are visible in the Scene view.

I’m not getting it. There has to be a way that you can go through our connection and see what the problem is because I’m not getting it.

I’m going to bed. I leave my computer alive here and hooked to the web. Hopefully you can figure something out whilst I slumber.

Is there someway I can switch the control over to you and just watch, because I’m not getting it here.

Not though internet forums.

Ok, the only thing I need to know now is how do I get that image back to regular image format.

It used to be.

Did you try double clicking something in the hierarchy like PraetorBlue suggested? You didn’t actually state whether that worked or not.

You can also select something in the hierarchy, move your mouse into the scene view, and press the F key to focus on it.

There’s something wrong with mine. You can’t even use the

Scene keys at all. This I feel is the problem.

Do you think you could send me an example or something?

You still have not told us if double clicking something in the hierarchy fixes it or not.

If that does not seem to work, try restarting Unity and trying again.

If all layers are shown, the issue is you just don’t have the scene camera pointed at anything. Just point it at what you want to look at. The scene camera is not a duplicate of the game camera, which it sounds like you think it is. It is entirely independent of the game view camera. You have to move the scene camera to what you want to see in the scene view. As already mentioned, if you just double click on anything in the hierarchy, the scene camera automatically looks at whatever you double clicked on.

There it is. No doubt I’ll have the whole game later.
