Simple scene with Oculus/Unity

I am trying to make a very simple scene in Unity integrated with the Oculus. I don’t currently have the Oculus here but I will have access to one next week. Is it not possible to develop and test a scene without the headgear, actual unit, present?

I’ve downloaded and installed the Unity 4 Integration and the Oculus Runtime Rev1 SDK. I run the Oculus Tuscany Demo and I see the scene but I am not able to move around or see the split camera like I’ve seen other unity users post a video showing.

I’ve made a new project and imported the OculusUnityIntegration.unitypackage. I’ve made a new scene and I am using the OVRCameraRig and OVRPlayerController but I still dont see the double oculus view. Do I need to for it to be able to work on the Oculus?

Im not 100% sure, but you might need an Oculus plugged in and detected for it to work.
