simple write and read variables

Hey there, I try to build an Savegame. I was looking for that in so questions here… With Xml I would need to set up, I don’t know 50 lines?, just to get the stuff running. I remember my time at ‘DarkBASIC Professional’… isn’t there a simple way like

var myData = new Hashtable();
function OnSaveData (data : Hashtable) {
  WriteToHD(data,"myData.freesuffix",Appliction.dataPath+"/Saves");
}
function OnLoadData (dataName : string) {
  return OpenToRead(Appliction.dataPath+"/Saves/"+dataName);
}

maybe some OpenedData.Close() or stuff (or that I have to set the type of the var) but not all these classes and functions in each other, you know?

You may want to take a look at PlayerPrefs.
