Hi Everyone - just wanted to post up this news regarding Simplygon Cloud, a new service that allows you to optimize your 3D assets and create LoD models in the cloud. Best of all, it’s free. The limitations are you can only upload one asset at a time and it’s on the public server, but I’m sure it will be useful to a lot of people. Cool. Where can I get a voucher code to test the service for free?

Usually the Simplygon guys hand them out at the trade shows they attend. You can sign up here: http://www.simplygon.com/unity - but you don’t need a voucher to use it since it’s free for single assets at a time.

They’ve actually extended the $500 in Simpygon credits program through January 31, 2014, so it’s definitely worth checking out before then.
