Since JavaScript is the preferred language of Unity now ...

Is there anyt chance you guys could rewrite the scripts in Unity’s standard script library in JavaScript?

Those scripts are great take-apart learning tools for all of us newbies, but they aren’t as helpful as they could be, being penned in C#. In JavaScript, they’d be a big help.

I’m sure you could re-hack them into JavaScript in an evening, or two.

Will do

I agree. Javascript examples would be helpful. I’m finding it very hard to get started with scripting. More examples and documentation would be brilliant, although I understand that the developers must be very busy at the moment.

Any word on when version 1.0.1 will be out?

Thursday.

Unity 1.0.1 beta is coming out today.

Hurrah!

Looking forward to it. All your hard work is appreciated.
