single FBX or multiple FBX for animation?


Usually, i create one single FBX file containing all animations in Softimage (with the help of stored animation clips) and cut them up inside unity .

Maya Trax editor messed up so i was wondering if its okay to send multiple FBX files each containing a single animation. (Run.fbx, Jump.fbx etc…)


Yes! if you use the @naming convention Unity will set them up for you automatically
