Anybody know how to import models from google Sketch Up? If you do please tell me
download the model to your pc
open sketchup and then open the model
Export the model to .DAE
Then import it into Unity 
That is how I managed it
.FBX is how I do it.
Don’t you have to have the PRO version?
you do have to have the pro version to import models from sketch up to unity… directly…
but i have blender and i export my sketch up models to blender and from blender to unity and its 100% free
you just need blender. it might work with other 3d modeler programs…
Sketchup files are Zipped Collada files. Change the extension to zip. Unzip. Load into whatever you have that supports Collada.
