Pretty cool! Had to manually set the diffuse and normals after exporting the model on the sketchfab site by clicking settings and then 3D settings where i could then upload the Diffuse and Normal maps.
This guy is unfortunately toothless and eyeless as those were child objects with their own separate materials and it doesn’t seem the exporter plays very well with them (orientation and position was off on them, let alone materials and texture allocation)
Overall really cool thing to show off assets with though!

I’ve been working on a game for Ludum Dare 29 with a great bunch of fellow devs. In 72 hours we pretty much made a procedurally-generated 6DOF shooter with a very Descent-like vibe. We went for old-school pixel art textures. Here’s some of the ships from the game.

Big Pew is the boss that the player has to fight every couple of levels and fires a beam of energy from the main cannon. This powers down the engines which allows the player to get in behind it and pierce its shields.

Papa Pew is a heavy weapons ship that deals loads of damage if the player is hit by it.

Tickle Pew is a melee class fighter that charges the player trying to clamp it in its vices.
Here is a Scifi Research center for a turn based strategy I’m helping out with. We will have the beta ready soon. Only recently did I start being more pubic with my art so any critiques or comments are appreciated
