skinned mesh renderer

I currently have 2 of the same meshes in a scene, and when i press the play button, half of one of the mesh disappears. The other one is perfectly fine. The one that disappears has a skinned mesh, and is using an animation. That works, but when it does it, only half the mesh is there. Anyone know how to fix this?

*When i try to change it to a normal mesh, and press play, it disapears, and the animation doesn’t work.

The pieces that are disappearing either are not weighted to a bone, or their bone is not keyed to animate.

Or,

The pieces that aren’t disappearing are not weighted to a bone, and you need to make your entire object a child of something else so that animations don’t displace the mesh from its location.

so what your saying is I need every single vertice to be weighted to some bone to show up as a mesh?
I just tried that, and it distorted the mesh severally.
