Skinned Meshes + Instancing

Hi team - forgive me, but my search-fu has failed me.

Has there been any progress in being able to GPU Instance Skinned Mesh renderers, or at least optimize draw calls in some sort of way?

I've stepped out due to circumstances for the last year and am back, and was just hoping if anyone had any updates here - doesn't seem like it but felt I should ask regardless.

Hi,
I'm also looking for a working solution.
Unfortunately the proposed asset is currently broken for the new Unity versions.
