Does anyone have a free service, preferably an online one, that would allow me to convert .skp files, which are not supported by Unity, to .3ds files. I know about Babel3d, but I don’t want to give my credit card number away to “free” services.
I can’t support directly the Google SketchUp .skp file format in my program, because it is a totally unpublished ones.
I did find a way how to convert the .skp files to other format(s):
- Please install the Kertythea export plugin under Google Sketchup

- Export your object using the Plugins/Kertythea Exporter/Export model menuitem
- Open the exported .xml file with 3D Object Converter
- Export your object to other format you would like to use
