Hello guys, Chris here with FullMetal Enriched Gaming (FMEG.Co) and I’m going to be showing you the progress on our first mobile application for android called “Sky Brigade: Adventure” while the term Brigade is a military term, you may notice that nothing of a military aspect is currently implemented into the game, however… fear not. It will be.
As stated this is our first application and everything here is place-holder art. We’re planning on completing the game mechanics for at-least two of our playable characters (As the first unlock-able character will have abilities to use to destroy obstacles)
Game Development was started on 2/13/2014
This is NOT intended to be a flappy-bird clone, or remake.

Please understand that this is glitchy, and just a prototype. Currently the goal is to get as far as you can and collect as many points as you can, points will be stored to spend on new characters, backgrounds, unlockables, power-ups, and weapons.
Please let me know what you think so far, as this is our first 2D game, and first mobile application.
Just trying to keep this on a positive note! Your boxes move when they are hit, You can also still play the game when you fail. Thing you need to add is, Flashy backgrounds, Like techo backgrounds and maybe funny things. They are right this is flappy bird but with boxes and a duck, Change the style
Actually, I believe that games that involved holding down a button to propel were around WAY before flappy-bird. This is the first 24 hours of development of my FIRST application, I have plenty of plans for it and it’s definitely not designed to be a flappy-bird clone by ANY means. Flappy-Bird was so successful that ANYBODY… AND I MEAN, ANYBODY THAT HAS ACCESS TO TOOLS… is going to try to clone it and “Get rich quick” the market will be flooded.
I’m going to be changing the style, that’s definitive. I’m not an artist and we’re just using placeholders for everything right now, we decided that after we got the basic mechanics down is when we’d go and make everything look nice. Menu systems are being created right now that allows upgrades and weapons for certain characters (Such as the helicopter).
Collision is glitchy, if you land ontop of a gem it waits a moment before falling down and collecting it. You can still play after the game ends (In this revision) all of this has been fixed today. (As I was using 9 different scripts and just cross referencing to get a good idea, and now I have a single static script that references all calls for the game)
