Skybox Vue to Unity3D

Hello, sorry for bad english. I developed a small application to convert Skyboxes produced in Vue for Unity3D. The application reads the image and prepares the textures automatically, saving time. This is the first version and there is much room for improvement.

http://www.indiestudio.com.br/downloads/skyboxvueunity.zip

It’s for WINDOWS only. It’s totally PORTABLE. Just unzip it and run the EXE. Just one file. Not .NET dependencies or ActiveX.

Prepare your atmosphere on scene in Vue and choose Export Sky

Load image in software and choose Export to Unity3D

Result in Unity3D

I know that is not too much, but it is my first contribution to the community.

Thank you

not bad, I will try it out tonight. Vue can create some really nice skies

Wow!

That looks really good useful! Will definitely test it out later today give feedback

Thanks!

Great stuff, I’ll definitely check this out!

Very very interesting… Congratulations !
Which version of Vue ???

6R

I don’t know when Vue start to export the Sky. I think since version 6 it is available. You must have the Exporter module. It came with Complete version (I have this edition), but I think you can use a basic edition with the exporter module.

Howdy!

Been testing out the app today, but can`t seem to make it output 1024x1024 images. I tried exporting both the 3072x4096 image that came with the app + one of my own exports, but it only outputs to 512x512.

Did i just find a bug or am I completely missing something?

Cheers,

Roald

I will check that today.

Thank you, Brokenpoly. Its a bug. Fixing in next 24 hours.

Cool!

Looking forward to the update

Fixed. Please download again. Thank you.

Noo the link is dead, please reup

Fixed. I am building the site and forget to restore the folder.

Thanks, great addition to my useful app collection!

Just one thing - I get visible seam on by cube, even if I set Wrap Mode to “Clamp”. Maybe it is because I resize my map in the photoshop after I export it a little bit bigger?
