Like the title says. None of my sliders will slide in Runtime in the Game window. They still can be affected by the Inspector. I checked for overlaps that prevent the control from being interacted with and that is not occurring. I created a new slider and left the defaults and that too will not slide. The handles are accepting input from the pointer as they change color but they are basically stuck in place. This is in one scene so it can’t be any plugins. I just checked the other scene and its sliders are functioning as advertised. I quit and restarted Unity and that didn’t work either. Any clues as to what is up here are helpful.
OK… I got them working but it makes no sense. I usually place a GameObject with my UI control script as the top level parent and the Canvas just under this as first sibling. The other scene is set up like this and it works. I dragged the Canvas out of the parent gameObject and now the sliders work. Why?
