Slowest Mac for Unity 2.0

I had picked up a really cheap 500 MHz G4 off Ebay when Unity 2.0 was first released but was unable to get it to work properly even after upgrading memory and graphics card. All told I spent $80 plus S&H (Almost $80 as well, lol). I have since donated the computer to my wife’s classroom.

I own several game engines for PC (Torque, C4, Lawmaker, Shiva, etc.) but wanted to take a look at Unity before purchasing. Some others on my team have Macs, but they are artists and I don’t feel like traveling to their place just to test an engine.

I have a couple web-based applications I will be doing in the next couple months and while Shiva can do this, it pales in comparison to Unity from what I have seen.

What is the slowest/cheapest Mac anyone has successfully gotten Unity 2.0 to work on?

Edit: Would a 1.4 GHz Mac Mini with a Radeon 9200 support all of the features of Unity 2.0?

A mac mini with Radeon 9200 has no support for pixel shaders, so it won’t have all graphics features.

Newer mac mini’s also have very slow graphics cards, but they do support all the graphics features. A good pick is the iMac because it has a decent graphics card. If you are on a budget maybe you can find the first generation intel iMac with a X1600 graphics card second hand.
