Is there a relevantly simple way to smooth Unity’s mouse look script?
Look on the Unify Script Wiki, under camera scripts. There’s a script there that does just what you need.
That one doesn’t work… I can’t look around at all using that script.

Works great for me. Just replace the Mouselook scripts that are already on the FPS Controller (if you’re using that).

Alright, this is getting ridiculous. Can you screen shot your set up? What object it’s attached to? the scene hierarchy? The script works, so it’s something in your setup.

I literally replaced the code in the original MouseLook script with that. It is still on all the same objects, and nothing else has changed.

Take the Mouse Look scripts off of Player and Main Camera. Put the SmoothMouseLook on there instead.
That is the SmoothMouseLook script. I already said that…
If it were the smooth mouse look, the component would be named smooth mouse look and the script would say smooth mouse look. Create a new script called SmoothMouseLook. Don’t just replace the code in the existing one.
Take a look here I am still improving the script but it should do everything you want it to. Paste the code into a new .cs script and attach it to your MainCamera, removing any other MouseLook components first.
