Smooth Trail Renderer

Hi UnityAnswers,

I’m just about finished working on my puzzle game for mobile and have always been slightly bothered by how jagged my trails have been when they’re curving.

Here’s an image:

I’ve tried changing some values on the component, but this is the best I could achieve. Does anyone have any insight on how to smooth it out, or if it’s even possible?

Reduce “Min Vertex Distance”. This increases number of times the trail is drawn over a distance, creating smaller chunks.

Of course, it’ll still be choppy if the movement isn’t smooth.
