I noticed in apps like MS Maquette there is the option to render a separate camera that is a smoothed out version of the VR user’s view. After implementing this myself, I noticed there is a significant performance hit (the reason is obvious). Is there any way to get around this performance hit?
For instance, I don’t understand why an Oculus camera rig requires 3 cameras to operate (left, right and center). I try to disable the center one but that is not allowed.
