hi, after making my first game for Android I wanted to do something more advanced. I Do (2D) character coming down with a snowboard. For now I’m only interested in the descent. I thought that was enough to put the rigidbody so that the physical acted as if it is not so. Do you have suggestions on after I document myself? thanks

Getting a long slender plank (a ski) to interact with terrain properly is probably going to be a difficult challenge. Instead, I think I would try using one or more sphere colliders to model the ski’s interaction with the terrain. Use them just like wheels, but don’t render them of course.

ok I do not need to be perfect also because I want to see in 2D then in profile, the camera will follow the player to the side. Now I tried it and it works but with material.physic slow down. Is there any script to greatly increase the speed? thanks

Things you can try…

- Reduce dynamic friction and static friction of your physics material, or set to them to zero to turn off friction entirely.
- Increase the gravitational acceleration in the [physics settings](http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/Components/class-PhysicsManager.html).
- Try adding some [force](http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/ScriptReference/Rigidbody.AddForce.html) or [torque](http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/ScriptReference/Rigidbody.AddTorque.html) manually to the rigid-body components.
