Hi!
I want to demonstrate on a man figure in Unity3d how to controll an arm with arduino uno and an IMU. I have downloaded a man and created a ragdoll on him, but i can’t make him to stand still after I’m pressing play and while I’m controlling his arm (that works fine). I can’t use an idle animation because i couldn’t controll the arm anymore. Is there an option, which make either the man ‘numb’ or the physics less influencing on him so that he can stand, and only the arm would move with IMU-controll? I hope this is the right place for this thread.
Greetings, Michal
You could give him a rigidbod and freeze all contraints, except for the arm
Why even have an entire man, just add the arm ?
Hey Moro,
Recently, I had a similiar question regarding the “numb” ragdoll.
In tutorial below, you’ll find every information needed. Particularly the third chapter “Toggle between Ragdoll and Kinematic Characters” will solve your problem above.
Good luck!
